He is always willing to fit you into his schedule when you need him, extremely precise and skilled, and most importantly, honest and trustworthy. Every experience I’ve had has been pain-free and gentle, which makes such a difference because we all know going to the dentist can already be intimidating. One thing I appreciate most is that this practice genuinely seems to put patient care before profit. Dental care can be expensive, and unfortunately, the financial fear alone keeps many people from taking care of their teeth. Here, I’ve never felt like unnecessary services were being pushed on me or that the goal was simply to make money. Everything is explained honestly, and you feel like your best interest comes first. If you’re looking for a dentist who is skilled, compassionate, gentle, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about his patients, this is the place to go. Not a scammer. Actually does good work and isn't a used car salesman. Another dentist told my 21 year old son that he needed a "special cleaning" and a root canal. This dentist gave him a fabulous "regular cleaning" which is basically what every other dentist calls "special cleaning" all for the new patient $99 special. It's ridiculous the racket dentists are pulling around here. Not this guy. He's a younger doctor. Knows his stuff and is honest, When they gave me the numbing needle he used some sort of massager and I couldn't even feel it. I'm never going to any other dentist.Posted on Yelp

I am not a fan of any dentist experience in my past yet this office did an excellent job from the front desk, the cleaning, to the doctor meeting. From the hygienist; the front office staff and especially the Dr Nihr, he has a great chair side manner and really cares about not only his patients but his staff as well and it shows. Went for my first visit this week…. Wow! Erin was my hygienist-she is gentle, has a great work ethic, was very concerned with how I was doing, and kept asking if I was comfortable and doing ok. When I walked in the receptionist even knew my name! Dentist was so laid-back, very knowledgeable, explained everything he saw in my x-rays, and explained thoroughly what the next plan of action needed would be. Bonus points that he went to Tufts university in Boston, where I just moved from a year ago this month! Extra extra bonus points that there is Nespresso coffee with flavored syrups in the lobby! So happy to find this dentist office! Everyone was so friendly, the office is clean, and it’s 2 minutes from my home!Posted on Yelp

The tooth was under my bridge. Instant panic at the bill. I walked into Sand Mine with dread as I had the same issue last year at a different dentist office and they wanted $7500-$10,000 to remove the bridge, give me a root canal and leave me toothless for 6 weeks for the new bridge. I opted for the antibiotic, the pain went away and I dodged a bullet. But now the infection/absess was back. Dr. Nirh came in with a big smile, talked calmly, showed me my x-rays and exactly what was going on. Basically, the infection lays dormant and will continue to return if not treated properly. Simply, I need a root canal which can be performed through the bridge with a small hole. Not ripping/sawing/breaking the bridge off as I was told at the other dentist office. I do have to have this part done with a specialist right down the street next week, but what a relief! I was prescriped Ibuprofen and Amoxicillian and today feel some pain relief. My cost yesterday: $0 for the xrays (covered by insuarnce) and my co-pay for the refilling of the "hole" after the procedure will be $145. I'm not sure what the root canal will cost, but I'm sure not $10,000. The staff were great, Dr Nirh was calming and layed back and I would highly recommmend this dental office! I am 62 years old. Dr. Nirh is exceptional as he takes the time to explain everything clearly, you’re comfortable and informed throughout your visit. He’s not only polite and caring with patients, but it’s also clear he treats his staff with the same respect and kindness, which creates such a positive atmosphere in the office. I was especially impressed by how gentle he was as it was the first time I did not feel the injection. I truly appreciate his thoroughness and compassion.
